Hi, I have been looking for a solution to displaying a specific category from the main blog on this site, which is not on the home page. It sounds like Pods might be a solution, but very little of your documentation seems to address how pods taxonomies can be displayed, especially when dealing with exclusions.

Is your plugin a solution? And, if so, can you suggest which taxonomy strategy would be the best to use?

    Thank you

@catwingz, all of our Taxonomy solutions work with WordPress specific taxonomy functions, like get_terms, list_the_terms, etc, so they work natively with Taxonomy as expected. Any plugins that work with Taxonomy in the WordPress Way should also work with Pods right out of the box.

With Pods, you can create Custom Taxonomies, Extend existing Taxonomies by adding additional fields and Associate any Taxonomy to any Post Type. The display options available are the built-in WordPress query & loop functions, our Pods Template language (for people not comfortable with PHP) or our built-in API functions.

If you give a more specific example of what you’re trying to do (when I click on your site link above, I just get an error), we can make a suggestion of what you might try for your solution.

I will have to revisit this at another time. The site has an old theme which is starting to develop some weird quirks. Time to replace it and then deal with my categories. Thanks
