• I’m using a child theme on a client site. When I updated the main theme, it deactivated the child theme, and when I reactivated the child theme the Custom CSS in the Jetpack module is GONE.

Also, I can see no revisions in the revisions box. (Maybe they are turned off?)

I hadn’t had a chance to move the newest codes into the child theme css yet.

And a big chunk of custom CSS work is gone. I’ve deactivated and reactivated Jetpack, I’ve changed themes again and changed back. Nothing is changing. It’s all blank.

Some of the work was done by another tech, so I’m not even sure what all we’re missing. MANY lines of CSS, though.

Is there any way to get the last version of the CSS back? I didn’t delete anything. Please help! Black Friday sale is gonna be crippled if I don’t get this right.

    Thanks!

Sorry for the delay in answering, we were away for Thanksgiving. I realize my answer might not be that useful anymore 🙁

That’s most likely the issue here. If you see no previous revisions, it means that they’re turned off for you site.

If that’s the case, I’m afraid the only way to get your custom CSS back is to restore an old version of your site if you use a backup plugin, or use Google to search for a cached version of your site, that still includes your old CSS.
