Hi All I have just downloaded the theme ifeature and was wondering how do I delete the ride hand side widgets (Pages,Archives,Categories, wordpress, subscribe) and the hello world blog post from the home screen under the default 3 images of the chimps.

I went into customize – blog and found the slider and images that I can edit but just can’t seem to find the other bits.

I deleted all the side bar widgets but it hasn’t changed anything???

I deleted the hello world post but now it still shows up with a box saying create your first post??

Regarding the widget areas (sidebar and footer): I had the same issue; I found a workaround by placing a widget in the widget areas and the “Pages,Archives,Categories, wordpress, subscribe” stuff disappeared. Now for the footer area I did not want anything there, so I placed a text widget in the footer – but I did not enter a title for the text widget and left the text widget box empty. This made the other default stuff disappear and nothing is now being displayed in the footer because the text box widget has nothing in it.

In the theme’s settings page under “Blog” is where you can edit the “boxes”, “slider”, etc. Remove the images and added your own, enter a link, and then enter the text you want to show in that box. The free version of the theme only has three boxes.
