moving WP from one sub-folder to another .. same domain

I want to move WP from

nnnnnnnnnnnn.com/blog to nnnnnnnnnnnn.com/site

I found this, but it’s 10 years old. Can anyone confirm that these insructions are still correct?

That thread has directions to UODATE htaccess files, but I do not see that option on WP anymore.

Just looking for updated help that is not a decade old!
