I just set up FSCF for a new site. After I test send a form I get a page that says “Hello, spam bot” instead of being redirected to the home page.

The emails go through with no problem, so it’s working as it should in that respect.

I have spent most of today trying to figure this out and I am frustrated. I have used the plugin many times in the past with no issue.

Captcha is activated and it seems to working correctly.

For what it is worth I can’t change the submit button color. I have no idea if that’s related or not. I usually change the button color. It’s easy to do.

  • Hi, have you tried to deactivate all your other plugins except this one. See if that helps you.

    mbrsolution,thanks for the reply.

Yes, I have done that. First thing I thought of in this.

Update. The shortcode I used is the first one, [si-contact-form form=’1′], the default short code. I copied the settings to another form with a different short code number and it seems to be working.

I still can’t change the button color though. Weird. Checking the button color on Inspect Element shows the color number I changed it to is there, but on the page it’s default gray. Sounds like somebody marked it !important somewhere.

Hi make sure you are adding the customize code in the correct area.

Check to make sure it is not inheriting some code from your theme which overlaps your code.

    What is your URL?

    mbrsolution, thanks for the reply.

Where is the correct area? Test area?

right now the site is at toba.theafabgroup.com/contact-toba.

    Thank you for the help.

Hi did you try the following instructions?

Hi, mbrsolution and thanks for the link. Yes, I did, just as explained in the instructions.

Just for testing purposes can you test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Fifteen? I think it is your theme that is not allowing any changes.

Yes, changing themes solved the background-color issue for the button.

The theme I am using Vantage Pro. Interesting because I have used this theme and FSCF together a number of times before and no issues.

here is a conflict somewhere, but for now I am not going to mess with it. The customer is not complaining/has not noticed a gray button so I am going to forget it for now.
