plugin jetpack portfolio in archive page?

Hello,

I am using the jetpack portfolio as it fits exactly what I need. Except that the portfolio page that I created becomes automatically an archive page. And even when I add attributes to the shortcode it doesn’t change anything in the display of the portfolio. Can someone explain to me what I do wrong?
