• I am using BackWPup on several websites. When I set them up I can’t remember exactly what the situation was re API keys but it seems to me that I didn’t need one. I selected WP-cron and everything has worked great.

Now I am adding a new site and see that there is a new website called EasyCron.com. It would appear that I have to sign up for this and if I want the free version I have to renew every month – not very practical when I have a lot of websites.

I went to several of my old sites and they all have this new set-up that requires and EasyCron.com API key.

What is the situation? My backup jobs seem to be working just fine without it. They are getting dropped to my dropbox as originally set up but I don’t have the option of using DropBox with my latest website.

Is there documentation on this change?
    Thank you.

On Dropbox is nothing changed! IF you would user your own API Keys for Dropbox you can by the pro version there they can be changed.

EasyCron we can’t get work with a own API key.
If you not need EasyCron thand don’t use it.

When Dropbox will not desplayd on job configuration it can be that crul for php is not installed.
