    Hi,

About a week ago,I received an automated notice that future versions of this plugin wouldn’t work with my PHP (5.2).

Well I saw the notice that the new release was available today and I thought I just clicked the box to turn it off but it looks like it updated it automatically.

Is there a way to reinstall an older version? Does the current version put my site at risk, or can I leave it for now?

And the reason I haven’t updated to newer PHP is because it messes up my Woothemes Canvas theme, and being poor at coding, I have no idea how to update it (if that’s even possible).

    Thanks!

If and when we release a future version of the plugin that doesn’t support your PHP (5.2), it wont automatically update and it wont crash… we’ll have built in mechanisms to prevent that.

I would think that Woothemes canvas supports higher versions of php at the moment… it might be worth taking the time to setup a clone test site, on a newer version of PHP and testing your theme.

    Paul,

Thanks for the info! On a whim I tried updating my PHP to 5.4, and it’s working ok so far 🙂
