Since upgrading to Yoast SEO 3.x and trying out the OnPage partnership, my site is reported as not indexable because WordPress drops a canonical URL into the homepage that references itself. I know my site is listed by Google, but want to make sure I get maximum impact.

According to the Yoast page: Canonical URLs only work for single posts and pages, not for categories and tags, not for the homepage. The Yoast SEO plugin fixes that, and sets the correct canonical on each of those pages.

However, I cannot see anywhere in the plugin that allows me to fix the homepage canonical URL. I have tried various code hacks but nothing removes it.

Does anybody know how to resolve this?

    Thanks
