    Hey all,

I am searching for a plugin that will be used for a specific goal:

    1) guest registers.
    2) guest visits Calendar Plugin (this is what I need)
    3) guest can book 1 hour spot on calendar
    4) calendar updates at once to show booking
    5) sends information to guest and host/admin on booking (i hope)

Ideas on anything that can do this for me? I’ve seen exactly this functionality for booking by day in the property rentals, only I need it working on an hour by hour basis.

    Thx in advance,
    Ebil

Oh, also it needs to display the calender schedule so that filled spots are shown unavailable…

I’d like something like this also for our company’s conference room scheduling. The user should be able to log in, create or edit their event but not be able to delete or edit someone else’s event.

Calendar Plugin and Event Calendar both do what I want except for the editing security. Anyone who can access the calendar has full admin rights to the calendar.

    Anyone?

    Has anyone any suggestions? Thanks.

    ebiladdress,

Check http://www.webreserv.com. They have a booking calendar that easily can be included on existing websites. It can be used to manage bookings for bed & breakfasts, vacation rentals, tours, etc. You name it.

    Hi ebiladdress

You may have solved this by now but if you haven’t, while looking for a similar solution I came across two resources that may help you

A wordpress plugin called Booking Calendar
and a standalone web based open source program called Meeting Room Booking System

I haven’t tried any of them yet but I’m gonna try the second one in a little while. All the reviews seem to be good. Hope this helped.
