Hi, I have 638 images, but when optimized turns into 3,867 so I have many duplicates like this one below, so is it safe to “Remove from Table? It seems to be defeating the purpose? because now I have more than when I started. My G-Metrix tells me to “Optimize Images” and gives me an F.

EWWW did not create those resizes, your theme and WordPress did. In short, you already had 3,867 images, you just didn’t know about it until EWWW showed you they existed.

The table in question merely keeps track of what has been optimized. The files are stored on the hard drive of your server, so removing them from the table would make EWWW forget that it optimized them so you could re-optimize individual image files.

Without seeing your gmetrix score, I cannot say too much specifically, but here’s an article that will help with a variety of issues that testing sites like to point out: https://ewww.io/2014/12/05/pagespeed-says-my-images-need-more-work/
