How to use "Enter feature link text here #…." ?

    Hi,
    I do not understand this “Enter feature link text #….” in the themes.
    What is the hashtag # for?
    What am I supposed to put there? I thought it was for URLs but it doesn’t work in any themes I’ve tried so far. Maybe syntax error on my part?

    Can someone provide me with a “feature link text” example?

    I have it to work with a full URL.

    Does the hashmark # have a function?
