I am evaluating your free version, and I have a question.

User “A” creates a Wishlist and then sends an Email share link to another person (User “B”). When User “B” receives the email and clicks on the link, they are redirected to the wishlist URL (e.g. [site home url]/wishlist/view/UTHJ058R7XZB/).

IF User “B” is not already logged in to the site, they get a 404 error. HOWEVER, if User “B” is previously logged into the site when they click the link, the redirection works and the proper Wishlist is displayed.

    Am I missing something?

    Hi jim,

just checked on my local installation, and everything seems to work just fine; unlogged users that visit a share link doesn’t receive a 404 error, and see the correct shared wishlist

If url correctly works for logged users, maybe your server is sending back a cached page to the unlogged user.

Are you using a cache plugin, or a server page cache service? can you flush all you caches and try again?

Additionally, try to regenerate your permalinks, simply visiting WP Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks and saving your options as they are

    Let me know
    Have a nice day 🙂

I went ahead and purchased the Premium version. I found that when you have selected to disable Wishlist features for unauthorized users (not logged in), a shared link to another user’s wishlist does not display properly after an automatic login redirect. See my support ticket #68454.

I have already fixed the issue in my copy. The support ticket shows the changes I made to your class.yith-wcwl-premium.php module.

I suspect there may be a similar issue with the Free version, though I did not attempt to investigate the code in that version.

    Thanks,
    Jim
