    Hi,

I have a small problem. I use lot of images on my website because I create good-looking reviews and posts showing users what features do the products have or not (usually icons and tiny images) – like ingredients of food etc.

So in one post sometimes there are 100 small images.

My question is: should I add “noindex” atribute to all of these small images or it is no important for SEO ?

My way of thinking is: it is not good to give google lots of uneccessary elements to index under single page.

    What do you think ?

    Regards,
    Mark

  • Hi Scorp_pl,

This would possibly be micromanaging SEO beyond the point of getting a positive return out of your time involved.

These images are going to play a very small role in SEO as long as they have good titles and alt tags and are well optimized for compression/speed/loading.

You’re quite welcome to mark them as nofollow but it’s simply not where I’d focus on investing too much time.
