Invoice Notes displaying too much info

    Hi,

    I’m evaluating this plug-in and it’s looking good but I’m having a problem with the Invoice display. When I view an invoice, the Notes section (and the Terms section) have the text that I’ve entered for my Notes *plus* the name of the Invoice. So I have something like;

    Notes
    Please make checks payable to xxxx <–this is what I have in Notes
    Invoice for company XXXX <— this is the name of the invoice

    Why is the name of the estimate showing in the Notes section?

    I’ve been trying to replicate this issue but I cannot, I’ve also reviewed the code to see how this could be even possible and I have had no luck.

    Do you have a customized template for your invoices or estimates?
    Is this for invoices and estimates?
    Are you using shortcodes in your notes?

    Lastly, please check without any other plugin activated. I have a suspicion that another plugin is injecting the title into the notes sections incorrectly.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    I disabled other plugins and still see the issue. Looks like it’s due to the theme I’m using – Spacious. I switched to 2015 and did not see the error.

    I’m a bit of a WP newb so I have no idea how to troubleshoot this. I guess it’s probably not your problem but would you have any suggestions? I’m not locked into this particular theme but I do like it.

    You should ask the theme developer as to why it’s adding the title to any text filtered by the “content” WordPress filter.

    Let me know what they say.

    Sorry. I did send a note to the theme developer but haven’t heard back. I’ve switched to a different theme for the time being. I’ll update this thread if I find anything out.
