Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Woocommerce not sending emails

None of the email notifications are sent, either to the customer or to the admin. When I manually “resend” emails from a placed order, only the invoice works.

Emails sent via the contact form works fine and tests done with “wp sendgrid” and “check email” plugins confirm that I can receive emails.

    – I have the latest version of WooCommerce and WordPress
    – All of the emails were activated in Woocommerce/settings/emails.
    – Still in Woocommerce/settings/emails, there is no comma or period in the “From” name
    – I tried removing the recipient in settings/emails/new order
    – The orders are not pending, but processing (also tried completed).

I tried using the recommended plugins :
    – WP sendgrid
    – WP-Mail-SMTP

Don’t know what to do next and would appreciate some help!

    Thanks!

  • Postman’s email log will tell you whether Woocommerce even generated the email or not.

    Hello Jason,

I just installed Postman. In the log, I can see the Postman SMTP Test performed while installing the plugin, but not the one I made afterwards with WooCommerce.

What could be the next step to resolve this problem?

    Thank you!

If the email is not in the log, then WooCommerce had a problem generating it. That’s as far as I can help, unfortunately. But you might have a plugin or theme conflict. Disable all the other plugins, switch to the default theme, and try your WooCommerce test again.

Well, it seems that the problem lies with WooCommerce Multilingual, from WPML. I’ll see this with them.

    Thank you for your help!
