• For some unknown reason, a search function that used to find products on my site without any problem, now can’t find a single product! The search bar is the default one – but I don’t know if it’s for the theme or for wordpress in general… I tried Relevanssi search plugin, and it found the words, but not the products. Can someone help me get a search function that works again? Thanks in advance,
    Sharon

Hi @ocdmama. I’ve ran a couple of search tests in the demo website. It works fine so far.
The demo website includes a shop powered by the WooCommerce plugin. If you search for Ninja for example (a product keyword), you’ll get this result page : http://demo.presscustomizr.com/?s=Ninja

As long as your products are created from your WordPress admin, and therefore stored in your database, they should be found when you run a search query.

What is the plugin you’re using for your shop on your website ?

    Thanks 🙂

I use Etsy360 and it’s always worked in the past, but though the “mirroring” of my Etsy store still works, I cannot get any response from the tech support team. The company may have gone under – I can’t seem to find the answer to that. Would that be my problem? No idea on how to help you better diagnose the issue…
    Thanks – Sharon

Well, I don’t see either what could be the cause of this problem unfortunately.

Did you try with another theme like twenty fifteen ?

I’m scared to change to another theme after spending SO much time getting this one just the way I want it (plus honestly, I like your theme better – it’s nicer looking). If the other theme didn’t fix the problem, I might have to start over again on your theme to get it back to what it is now… Your thoughts?

The idea was to make a test with another theme to understand if your issue is related to the Customizr theme or not 🙂

How would I do that without CHANGING my theme for the website?

Can you help me understand how to test another theme without actually changing from Customizer? I have Customizer the way I want it, and am very skittish about changing it and possibly loosing a lot of my “time intensive” layout. Thanks in advance.

You can switch to a different Theme, test and then switch back to Czr without losing anything

Any chance you have (or can create) a plugin to mirror my Etsy store on my wordpress site? There are some out there, but they don’t work well. Target is to have the wordpress site show all the products that are in my Etsy store, and when an item sells in either place, it deletes it from the other one (or shows it sold). Also, I want to keep the customer on my wordpress site until they’re ready to pay. I’m hoping you might have something like that, or may be willing to create it. There is a good market for it with all the countless Etsy sellers!

Not come across Etsy. Maybe someone else has.

I’m pretty positive that the problem lies in my Etsy360 plugin that has not been updated in 11 months. After the WordPress update to 4.3.1, that’s when the problem started as best I can recall. So now I’m looking for a replacement for the Etsy plugin. I don’t believe that your theme is to blame at all! Thanks for your time everyone.
