XML Google Maps supports the Google Earth plugin, which runs on Windows and Mac, but not on Linux. In addition Google Earth itself seems to me more attractiv than the plugin. So I’d like to set a simple link to my maps’ kml-file named something lik “click here to open in Google Earth” under the map. But of course XML Google Maps converts the link to a map.

How can I create such a link?

    Thank you and happy easter!

Look at the faq, samples and parameter section on the plugins homepage! There you get your answer or at least a workaround – saying: use parameter urldisplaymode!

Oops … I don’t know why I didn’t find this solution on the plugins (very good) homepage earlier. Thanks for your support and this great plugin!
