Subscribing to new topic

Yes it is my topic.

I don’t think we are on the same page (figuratively and literally).

The site I am talking about is Boiling Frogs Post that uses WordPress to keep track of threads that you are interested in following.

I only see the option to subscribe to a thread if you make a post in the thread.
Can I follow a thread (receive e-mail notifications) if I don’t make a post to a thread?

That’s a pity.

I would be cluttering up dozens and dozens of threads with nothing posts like:
“I am subscribing to this thread.” just to receive e-mail notifications.
