cookies from a subdomain

    Not so much a WordPress question, but rather general about 3rd party cookies:

    Are cookies from a subdomain considered as 3rd party (and blocked by certain browser by default)?

    So if I have an iframe in my site example.com with the origin sub.example.com, are cookies set from the iframe 3rd party?
