  • Yes, you can put your content in an iframe. A lot of people are, but for those of us viewing your pages, a lot of us can’t stand having to change our accustomed method of using the scroll bar where it normally is, or our handy-dandy scrolling wheel on our mouse, and having to move “into” your page, hunt for the iframe scrolling bar, and then use that scrolling bar, or click inside of the content, which Firefox and some browsers “shift” the color of the iframe background so you “know” you are in an iframe, and then use our handy-dandy scrolling wheel.

I have a very strict policy – Make viewing a web page EASY for the user. The more effort they have to put into it, the less likely they are to be enthusiastic about returning. I love breaking conventions, but this is one I personally am not fond of.

But web page design is in the eye of the designer.
