Stop a Field From Submitting in Save Progress Plugin

I’m using the Ninja Save Progress plugin. I’m using no input fields for admin messages to users filling out the fields on the front end. The problem is that when a user saves their progress Ninja uploads these fields as empty fields erasing whatever admin has put in. I’ve tried using Javascript to change the name of the fields, but it still updates with nothing…it doesn’t even keep what admin has entered in the submission area….just gets rid of everything.

Any ideas on this? Maybe a filter that would allow me to stop submission of the fields I don’t want to submit?
