    greetings,

2 years ago someone that worked for me used the same database for 2 websites. 2 years after and cleaning one of the websites i erased the databse without knowing it was the same for a very important site of mine.

    so… i lost all…

i have an old backup but better than nothing, but the problem is that after importing it to the mysql control panel, i cant conect it to the website. what am i missing?

    thanks for the help.

1 ask your host for a Recent back up – good hosts will do that at least weekly

2 make sure the $table_prefix in wp-config.php is the same as the db you are connecting to and make sure the user, pass, etc. are correct in wp-config.php.
