Just updated both my sites and get the messages about the transfer to the new licensing system, but when I click the link to go to the Licences Settings Page all I get is the General and Frontend tabs and a Save changes button, which does nothing! I’ve deactivated all other plugins (except WC, natch) to no avail!

It may be unrelated, but with WP_DEBUG true, although there are no errors on the backend, on the front end of the site I get this little lot:

Notice: QSOT_addon_registry::is_activated is deprecated since version 1.14.0 with no alternative available. in /nfs/c04/h02/mnt/65449/domains/tickets.brightongmc.org/html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3408

    Hello @petervandoorn ,

I believe we have a login to the site in question, but can you check and email info @ opentickets.com with the URL and Creds?

You are one of our favorite debuggers! (Since you actually provide literal debug…)

We’ll take a look at see how to help.

    Hey @petervandoorn,

You have two issues here. First, your Licenses Tab is not showing on the settings page. Second you see some error messages.

For the first issue, I just released a new version of the plugin which should resolve the issue, 1.14.2, but does require a couple steps be taken.

    – install the new version
    – visit the OpenTickets -> Extensions page
    – if the page is blank, click the ‘check again’ link
    – once the page refreshes, you should see a list of extensions. good
    – visit the OpenTickets -> Settings page, and you should have the Licenses Tab now

The second problem, the errors showing, is related to your WP_DEBUG being on, BUT that is not the real problem. The messages are indicating that we have updated the process for maintaining the license keys. The Keychain plugin is now obsolete. Those messages are trying to tell you that this is the case, and that the Keychain plugin should be deactivated and removed. This is easy to fix, just deactivate it and remove it and you should be good.

That worked on one of my sites (brightongmc), but on the other (pad-fairs), clicking ‘Check Again’ on the Extensions page has no effect.

BTW, there was only one issue – I turned on wp_debug to check for error messages so that I could give them to you in case they were relevant.

    Hey @petervandoorn,

Glad to hear that fixed it. Moving forward everything should go relatively smoothly with the updater. Sorry for the misunderstanding on my part about there being a second issue, and glad that it was only temporary while you were trying to track down the problem on your end. Thanks for that by the way.

Hit us up if there is anything else,
    Loushou
