    I installed the plugin and went to the Link Checker settings and there were errors:

    Warning: file_get_contents() [function.file-get-contents]: http:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0 in /[*removed path*]/wp-content/plugins/link-checker/template.php on line 19

    Warning: file_get_contents(http://gravitystation.com/wp-content/plugins/link-checker/tmpl/table.html) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /[*removed path*]/wp-content/plugins/link-checker/template.php on line 19

    Then I clicked on the “Check Links” button anyway to see if it would work, but it only showed a blank white admin page.

    Hello Treebeard,

    Thank you for your bug report. I had a look at the issue and hopefully fixed it in the new version 1.1.2. May you try this version and report back if it works?

    I used a URL instead of a path as input for the file_get_contents function in the old version. This accidentally worked in the most hosting environments and so I have not detected the error earlier.
