[sale_products] shortcode not ordering

The sale_products shortcode is not ordering no matter what I insert into the orderby and order arguments.

I’ve debugged the sale_products function on class-wc-shortcodes.php and the $query_args array is correctly affected by the values I’ve used on the shortcode, but the list is still not ordered.

Anyone has had this problem before with this specific shortcode?
