If I use your rename option, what url am I using for the buttons?

If you activate the rename login page feature, then you will always need to use the special URL to get to the login page.
But if you are going to expose this renamed login page to your users then what’s the point of hiding it?

The point of hiding it, is because of the brute force attacks occupying the site.

And that was my point. It is a membership site, with login and registration buttons everywhere. Every site has at least one button – linked to a url – people click to login, so it is hardly a secret. It would fool a bot that does NOT walk the site looking for the login link.

@sid if your site is a membership site then perhaps the best solution is to use a membership plugin.

@sid, is your question answered? If it is can this thread be closed?
