    Hi, I designed my http://www.geolawsdesign.com/ site to have a visual and site menu at the top of each page. For the site pages that was not a problem; I simply added my signature graphic and site menu at the top of each page. For my blog, the solution I found was to keep a post always at the top (sticky) and add my visual and site menu to it. I am however stomped by the news page. Can you recommend how I can add the same effect using the “News Custom Post Type” news plugin? I am using the Sketch WordPress.com theme and am on the latest version. My programming skills are very basic. Many thanks!!!

    @glawsid,

    Sorry to be so long in getting back to you–family issues were keeping me busy.

    As I recall, the “sticky” feature used to be implemented in core with a hardcoded check for a post_type == ‘post’, so that it would only work for the built-in blog posts–never for any custom post type.
