  • Did you actually add the terms (from your custom taxonomy) to some images?

So the only way is to add custom taxonomy manually to the images?

    Hello @snecz,

Sorry, your problem is unclear to me. Can you post screenshots to explain better what wrong with the filtering in your case?

Of course, you can filter images by custom taxonomy, the plugin is designed to do this. But it seems we call “custom taxonomy” different things. Please explain your problem in more details.

I think my question is similar to snecz. I have 2 taxonomies (media categories and website locations). On media library page (in admin) I can only filter by ‘Media Categories’ taxonomy. Is there any way to filter images by the ‘Websites Locations’ taxonomy? Or, do I need to do anything to add this taxonomy to the Media Library page?

    Hi @aleksandrk,

Take a look at Media Settings > Taxonomies. Every taxonomy has its settings. You need “Filter in List View” or “Filter in Grid View / Media Popup”.

Thank you Nadia, that solved my problem.

I was confused on this at first also. Maybe as an idea, set them as the default when creating a New Taxonomy?

    Hello @elarson,

Thank you for suggestion. We will consider this. We are now working on plugin’s new documentation, anyway options will be well described in it.
