• Hi,

I wonder if by using Participants Database Plugin I can add a field to manually register in a log, with time stamp, the participants’ activities.

For example, if a participant calls/emails me and ask about something or suggests something, I want to record that history in a field that is only visible to me as a registered user, and be able to show it and edit it/add in it, when I pull up that participant’s record for example thru search.

I am not very good at this, put I tried to explain what I need as much as I can.

    Thank you

    Hi again,

I guess what I’m trying to ask is there a notes field capability in Participants Database, that enables me to add/edit dated notes on a participant?

    Thank you

No, the plugin doesn’t have this kind of capability. The best you can do is use a text area field and just enter the date yourself.

This kind of thing can be added to the plugin by a developer.

Thanks, I used the rich text field and it works.

Another question, can I make a field appear and be required if another field is selected or filled.

For example, if the “approved” filed is checked, then I want another field “approved by” to appear and become required, but if “approved” is not selected then “approved by” is not shown and the record can still be updated.

    Thanks you.

The plugin doesn’t have this kind of thing available. This would be done using a custom template and javascript to control the visibility of fields based on what is selected on other fields.
