• When I update the theme my custom background photos (our-team-banner), icons (icon-step1) and fonts revert to default ones. All customisation is lost.

  • Ah. I was wondering about that. Think I’ll wait to update to 1.5.2 then.
(Doesn’t EVERYone customise pics & fonts & tweak a few styles?)

Has anyone else had any problems after updating I Am One? And solutions?

Theme update shouldn’t let you loose any of the default customization.

Let us know from which version to which version does this happen and i will update the theme accordingly.

We are on 1.4.1 and we tried to update to 1.5.1

We had to change the fonts in the original themes as the ones you use do not support East European characters we need (š,č,ž….) We also replaced the stock background images and icons.

When we update, style.css is overwritten (which, I suppose, could be solved with a child theme), but also the stock icons and images are also delivered with the update and they overwrite our custom ones.

I think you should not deliver any images in updates.
