• Jetpack does odd things to photos. For one thing, in IE 11 it makes the first photo in the blog post shrink in size to nothing. (It doesn’t do this in Chrome.) There were other strange things it did to my photos in my carousel, mainly cause them to be very teeny tiny in size, so small you could barely see them. I had to turn Jetpack off to get things back to normal.

Could you post a link to one of your galleries here, so I can have a look at your site?

If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form:

Could you also let me know what theme you use on that site, so I can try to reproduce on a test site of mine?

    Thanks!

Hi Jeremy! I have the same problem. I left you a message on the jetpack website contact support. I hope it has an easy fix. Thanks!

    My website is http://www.stakedintheheart.com.

But you can’t see the tiny shrinking photos (and when I say shrinking, I mean they will shrink down right in front of your eyes as soon as the page loads) unless I unable Jetpack which I don’t want to do because it completely messes up my pages.

@carolinacourtland: Thanks for the link! I had a look at your site, and confirmed that Jetpack is currently enabled. However, I don’t notice any issues with your photos in Chrome or IE. Are you still having trouble? If so, could you please provide me a screenshot of the issue as well as the exact steps that you are taking that result in the issue?

The Jetpack for photos (photon) is NOT enabled on my website. I have it disabled because it messes up my pages so horribly. I can enable it and try to take a screenshot of what happens. All I can show you is a super tiny photo and what it looks like without Photon enabled. How do I show you these screenshots?

You can use a service like http://snag.gy/ to post screenshots here.

    Thanks!

I found a website that has what I’ve described occurring with a photo. It’s a photo with “SEO MOFO Worlds Greatest SEO” in it at the top of the article on the right hand side. Notice how it starts shrinking away to nothing, with the text clinging to it. This is what happens on my website to my photos if Photon is enabled. Hit refresh if it doesn’t do it right away.

I can’t seem to reproduce at the moment. I tried in IE11, on a Windows 10 machine. Could you tell me more about your setup?

    Thanks!
