    Hi I am having problems with firefox and the slider, there is a huge space above the slider so it appears to be halfway down the page, this has suddenly appeared after i upgraded the slider. With chrome I still have same the problem as before, the slider appears huge at first then corrects its size, i have posted before but received no response, am hoping this time i have better luck

  • Hi Melanie,

    I’m not seeing the issue in Firefox – the header/slider appear ok for me with no huge gap as described.

    I’m testing on OS X and Firefox version 41.0.1

    Chrome also looks good.

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Latest news – reinstalled and much better, BUT the slideshow still appears for a brief moment very large, then resizes its self to the right size, is there anything I can do about that?
    Thank you
    Melanie

    Hi Melanie,

    Adding the following CSS to your theme might help:

    .slider {
    width: 100%;
    }

    The slider/images are quite large so this does come at the compromise of page load speed.

    I don’t see the issue myself but appreciate there are differences in connection speed and hardware that contribute to the loading of the page.

    Thanks,
    Dave
