Remove hyperlink underlines from Social Menu

I have looked at adding text-decoration:none in many ways but cannot get it to remove the hyperlink underline.
I have noticed in the page source of the site that there is an extra event handler for “outbound-article” in the Shortcodes Ultimate menu compared to when I use the menu with the twentyfifteen style, not sure if this would change anything, though.

Any help would be great!
