Because you’ve bought hosting from WP Engine but not yet pointed a domain name to it. So meanwhile, you’re only able to use that temporary address that has /wpengine.com in it.
This might help – http://wpengine.com/support/how-to-configure-your-dns/
Oh, ok, I see!
The thing is, I first created an account on WordPress.com and registered my domain. But the theme I bought only works with WP Engine.
So isn’t my domain already registered..?
You have to point the domain to wpengine. Themes can be used everywhere except wordpress.com
I already can access wy dashboard through WP engine so I guess the redirection worked? But still my URLs are not pointing at my domain.
I’m sorry, I’m kinda lost here :-/
If the domain is with wordpress.com then I think you need to read this too – https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/move-domain/
First you need to know your IP address for your wpengine site.
Then you need to login to wordpress.com to point your domain name at that IP address.
Have you done that already? If so, there may be a delay of a day or two while it all resolves.
If not, read those two links above because between them, they explain what to do. If it’s still unclear then use live chat on wpengine’s site to have them talk you through it.
Thank you very much. I think I will contact WP engine support.
Have a great day!

onehare, in accordance with forum rules please do not solicit help off of these forums, let’s keep support here unless it actually belongs elsewhere, as is the case with WP Engine support.
ninaouette, sorry about that, if you feel you need help off of these forums and WP Engine can’t provide it, please try http://jobs.wordpress.net/ or http://directory.codepoet.com/ and do not accept any hire or direct access offers posted to these forums.
