Why does word press delete more comments than 20?

    I’m having a big problem with word press. Every time I delete spam messages, word press deletes 25 messages. The problem is that word press also deletes 5 messages that you can’t see. It deletes 20 messages you can see plus 5 others you can’t see. This is a problem because I’ve been deleting people’s comments.

    Please help with this because it’s getting very frustrating.

    You could always individually select them and delete – logical!

    I can’t do that because it would take hours. At the end of the day I have over 1,000 spam comments that I have to delete.

    No, I’m not running Aksimet. Is it easy to install? Yall?

    Very easy!

    You do need to register for an account at WordPress.com to get hold of an API key but once it’s up and running, it will take care of 99% of your spam without you having to lift a finger. It’s caught 89,937 spam comments on my own blog over the past 2.5 years at a rate of around 1000 – 4000 per month. I couldn’t cope without it.
