• In setting up this plugin, I used some examples you provide as well as a few of my own construction.

    [amazon asin=0893817449&title=Masters of Photography&template=Thumbnail&live=1]

    [amazon asin=1451693591&title=test&template=Thumbnail]

    [amazon asin=0425271811&title=TheGilded Hour&template=Thumbnail] testing

    [amazon asin=0425271811&text=The Gilded Hour]

When I preview this, here is the result:

First example: nothing at all shows up on the preview
Second: ‘no image available’ in a box – clicking on that box does take me to the right product page
Third: ‘no image available’ in a box – clicking on that box does take me to the right product page
Fourth: the text link shows up as it is supposed to

I haven’t changed the templates at all. I would guess that I’ve overlooked something obvious about the images, but if you could please point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

PS This post is not live, so I haven’t got a link to give you.

    Hi,

Have you registered with the Amazon Advertising API web service and entered your credentials into the plugin? Have they validated?

If so it might be some weird quirk of the page preview feature of WordPress?

On the Admin > Templates page do you get previews of each of the various templates?

    Paul
