Is it possible to import a blog to wordpress using the XML source provided via feedburner?

I am currently using a blog host that doesn’t allow for exporting so feedburner is the only xml code I have in regards to my blog.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

  • Which blog host are you using?

    It’s called SythnaSite.

They are a website WYSIWYG builder with a blog function. I’ve checked the codex documents and they don’t have anything for SythnaSite.

I was trying to do it according to the “Import from RSS feed” section but I don’t understand “save the RSS feed you wish to import”. How do I do that? I use feedburner for my RSS feed.

The other option was XHTML. I guess I was wondering if that was the same thing as XML in feedburner.

I’m very confused. Sorry. Please help.

Either check with feedburner support on how to do what you want or disable feedburner and save the default rss feed that came with your site.

And by “save the default rss feed” you mean…???

Do i just open it up, copy, and then paste it into a text editor?

This is the part that has been confusing me.

    Thanks so much.

    Bump

Anyone want to explain that simple yet cryptic phrase “Save the RSS Feed”?

I ended up posting another question about this and that one got answered.

You can see the answer of how to use feedburner as your rss feed for importing here:
