Hi all. This is my first time posting in WP forums, so please bear with me. I couldn’t find that anyone else had a problem with that so I thought I’d ask. The problem is, I don’t need the “To:” line in the e-mail, how can I remove it? I already know that it’s to me :)))

Also, as a sidenote, would it be possible to have a different order for the fields (compared to the actual form itself) in e-mail?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi are you referring to Email Settings – Email To: under the Basic Settings tab?

In regards to your other question.

would it be possible to have a different order for the fields (compared to the actual form itself) in e-mail?

    Can you provide more information.

    Thank you

Hi. No, the setting You are talking about is the e-mail address e-mails are sent to. I am talking about when the e-mail already arrives in the inbox and I open it, the first line of the e-mail content is “To:”, then the second line is the same address as in the setting. Third line is the first field name of the form, fourth line is the first field contenct etc. Why is the first line of the e-mail content “To:” and the second line my address? And how can I remove it? Because I know what address the e-mail is sent to, I don’t need to see it in the e-mail content.

The order I am talking about is that there is an order of fields on the page and in the settings – first field is field A, second is B, third is C etc. When the e-mail arrives, the content is displayed in the same order – A, B, C etc. Would it be possible to change the order of fields so that in the page the order on the page and in the settings is still A, B, C, but in the e-mail it would be for example B, C, A?

    Thanks.

Hi the To: is the default for the e-mail sent. Unfortunately this can’t be changed.

In regards to your second question, unfortunately no. I will submit an e-mail to the plugin developer to check further your request.

    Thank you

OK, thanks for the reply. But it still is a complete mystery – why the “To:” line in the e-mail content is needed in the first place (pun intended)? It’s absolutely unnecessary and it’s probably a single line of code to remove it… Could You ask the developer also that question?

    Thanks.

Yes I understand what you mean. I have already submitted an e-mail to Mike Challis the developer to view your request.

There is no setting for it, sorry.
You can remove it in the code here
class-fscf-process.php line 166 where it sets the To:

Yes, I know there’s no setting, but thanks for the reference!!! 🙂 I commented it out and it’s now gone from e-mails, thanks!

I must say it’s a really excellent plugin!

@aiiro I am glad to hear you solved your issue.

Can you mark this support thread as resolved.

    Thank you
