• Howdy,

Custom fields that I created to my user profiles (via OptimizeMember) aren’t showing in the “Send Additional Fields” dropdown in MailChimp Sync.

The fields and chosen values are showing in the “all user” lists as well as in individual member profiles.

I’ve created corresponding fields in MailChimp, and those are showing in the second dropdown.

    Please advise.

    Hey La Juana,

Can you try updating to the latest version to see if your fields appear? It really depends on how the plugin in question handles their custom user fields but if they use the default WP User Meta table then they should show up in the latest version.

    Thanks!

Hi Danny, thanks for responding to my question.

I just updated the plugin. I see that it’s changed from a dropdown to predictive text, but it’s not finding my fields…either the field name or unique id text.

I’ve also noticed that the fields are showing in the user list, but when I do a CSV download of the data, they are not there.

    The plot thickens.

    Thanks,

    La Juana

    Hi La Juana,

That would mean that OptimizeMember uses a custom way to store additional user fields which means it is a bit hard for our plugin to pick up on those without specifically telling it where to find it.

Is OptimizeMember a plugin available for public download so I can take a look?

That’s what I figured. Unfortunately, OptimizeMember is part of OptimizePress, a paid addition to WordPress.

Is there a way I can discreetly send you a temp username and password to my WP admin section so you can take a peek? I’m not sure if this is an option.

    Thanks,

    La Juana

    Hey La Juana,

Sorry for the late reply – spent most of last week caught up in planes. You sure can – please send an email to support@mc4wp.com, mention this support topic and I’ll get to it & take a look. Would love to be able to add OptimizeMember support. 🙂

Will do, thanks! I see the info in the WordPress user export now, but I’m having an issue with the OptimizeMember database.

I plan to rebuild the database tonight, I will email you after that. I would LOVE for you to add OptimizeMember support as well. This is the missing link for OM!
