Your question isn’t related to the theme, but to the use of WordPress itself.
If you assign a category to a post in WordPress, there will be a category archive out of the box and manually creating pages isn’t the right approach as that is not how WordPress works when it comes to category or tag archives.
In case you want to link the category archive from your navigation, you’ll just need to create a custom menu in WordPress under “Appearance => Menus” and add the category of your choice as menu item.
