How to alphabetize categories in sidebar?

    Just like the title says… When a user pulls down the menu on the page, I want the categories to be alphabetized by name. (not chronological by ID)

    My standard Category Widget has always done it alphabetically. Hmmm.. Wonder if you have a plugin or theme that is altering its default behavior.
