Support » Plugin: W3 Total Cache » opcache with w3tc plugin, should I turn of page cache?

  • I have got opcache installed from my hosting provider and after the installation they told me, opcache caching is serverside and requires no setup from the w3tc plugin. Also, there is no need of any caching with w3tc like page cache as opcache does not use it.
So should I turn off all the caching by the w3tc plugin?
I have got page cache, object cache and Database Cache turn on right now in the plugin. Should I turn off any of them?
    P.S. I am on A2hosting

  • Opcode caching works to cache your php so think of this as doing your object caching for you. However, page caching is always ran from the disk. I would still run your page cache from disk.
