"Random" just grabbing the same posts

Hi, i’ve got a strange issue here. I’m running two RPWE widgets on a page. One bringing in the latest two posts of a category with images, and the second I want to list 5 more from that category, but with just the titles and they should be random.
So the first widget works great.
The second is pulling 5 articles, but it is always the same 5 articles and just randomizes those 5. And the 5 its pulling from are all pretty much in the middle of the list of articles, from about 3 years ago. If it was pulling the first 5 articles, or the last 5, I’d understand, but its at a random time its pulling from.

Anyone ever have this problem before?? I have no idea how to make the ‘random’ work….
