We’re working on an update to resolve this error – but have very limited time to dedicate to fixing this issue – an update will be released in due course.

Please try the latest plugin release and update this thread if this has helped to resolve the issue.

I am having the same problem.

    Version 1.2.2 of the plugin.

    Hello,

I am having the same problem. WP 4.3.1, Buddy Press v. 2.34 and Export Data plugin v 1.2.3.

I use this plugin specifically to export BP XP fileds and hope this issue will be solved soon.

    Thank you

We’re going to need some debug info in order to help – this is not a problem on the test server we run, which exports all BP data just fine – so please take the time to check error logs and disable other plugins before testing.

    Thanks

    Hello,

I just downloaded and installed the latest version of your plug-in today, version 1.2.5. I love the interface and advanced settings…great job!

I am having similar issues to the people above. When I choose to export the data, the profile data is blank. I am running WP v 4.3.1 and buddypress v 2.3.4. I am not sure what kind of debug info you would need beyond that? But I would love to keep using your plug-in if we could resolve the issue! Thanks!

debug info is generated by wordpress if you enable the wp-debug constants – you will need to read how and provide any lines from the log that relate to this plugin.

I would also suggest that you try the “limit” options to export less users, if you are dealing with a large number.

Ok. I will look into that.

I tried limiting the amount to only 200 exports and also setting a date rang of only the last two months, and for both the xProfile fields were all blank.

In which case @james-jams you’re going to need to provide some error log lines to show where the problem is being caused – without these we have no way to discover and fix the problem.

Hey QStudio. I emailed you the debug info to your email address I found through your website. I hope this was ok. Looking forward to your response! =)

All support that we offer is public – not via email – as this is the best way to help not just you, but others who have similar problems.

You should be able to copy any relevant lines from the error log into this ticket – or use a service like pastebin – just be careful to remove any information that might identity your server or private details.

Ok Dude…here you go. I think I left a bit of extra code in there but wasn’t sure exactly what you needed, but I def see a export error of some sort. I hope this helps..

    Thanks for posting the log.

This error is related to the EUD plugin:

PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /nas/content/live/MYSITE/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-xprofile/classes/class-bp-xprofile-group.php on line 416

PHP issues a Notice – which is not fatal – but does tell us that the BuddyPress is not returning the group data correctly – what version of BP and the EUD plugins are you using?

This error also: PHP Notice: load_plugin_textdomain() – but it’s not a problem, just a notice about a change to a WP function

The other errors the are generated on this screen are not related.

I do not really know what your explanations were. Did I give you the error data you needed to see?
    I have the newest versions of all plug-ins…WP – 4.3.1 BP – 2.5.8 and EUD – 1.2.5

As I read above many people are having the same issue I am. Could they be related?

@james-jams – yes, the debug info helps us to identify that BuddyPress is not returning the group data – which explains why some data is missing from the export file.

This is a problem we’ve faced a few times before – the BP code base updates and we then need to update our plugin to maintain functionality.

I will try to schedule some time next week to review the issue in more detail and will push some updates once we have found a reliable solution.

    Thanks
