Shipping Classes Not Being Applied (Resolved)

Hi there,

A client contacted to say that shipping classes weren’t being applied.

I looked into it and it appears that where I used to just enter the cost for a shipping class and then choose an option to multiply it per item, I now have the ability to enter a formula.

This would be great, if by default, the update hadn’t automatically entered a formula that resulted in zero, allowing items to be purchased without any shipping cost.

For example, 26.00 + ( ) * [qty] was entered and once I changed it to 26.00 * [qty] it started working again.

I realise bugs get introduced with updates, but it’s more frustrating when it has financial knock on effects.

I hope this info helps others in a similar situation.
