I am not sure when this happened, because I know images used to be displayed in subscriber emails of blog posts. Anyway, they are not showing up now, and I’d like to fix this as showing my new products to subscribers via email is how I get people to come back to the site.

I’m using WordPress 4.3.1, and the following plug-ins.

    Adsense Explosion
    Akismet
    Contact Form 7
    Jetpack
    Really Simple CAPTCHA
    Simple Tags
    Twitter Embed
    Video Embedder
    Weight Based Shipping for WooCommerce
    WooCommerce
    WooCommerce Extra Sorting Options
    WooCommerce Products Per Page
    WooDiscuz
    Wordpress MU Domain Mapping
WPSEO Pinterest Rich Pins for WooCommerce
    Yoast SEO

I see several threads more then two years old with this same issue but nothing recent and nothing seems to be rectified. I have my Settings > Reading set to full post, not except.

I’m also no longer using Akisment or the DOmain Mapping plug in, and instead using WP-SPamShield.

For all I know the problem may have cleared up. I lost the entire site after I made my original post and had to start over completely, but I can;t made a new post yet to see if its working as I’m still trying to get all of my images up again.

Looks like images are back in the email subscription posts. I’ll mark this as closed. Wish I knew what was causing it so I can avoid it happening again in the future but at least its working.
