  • Hi carolsaife,

thanks for using MH Magazine lite.

The theme already has spanish translation files included. You can find the files es_ES.po and es_ES.mo in the /languages folder of the theme and you can use the files to modify the translation as you like. Here you can find more information: How to translate a WordPress theme.

To switch your WordPress installation and the theme to spanish language, you’ll need to select “Spanish” in your WordPress dashboard under “Settings => General => Site Language”.

    Hi, thanks for your answer!
I’m sorry for my beginner question, but when I go to “Settings => General => Site Language”, it only shows me the English option… Is there any other setting area that I should change? I’m using a Magazine Lite Child theme.
    Thanks again!

You’re welcome. The option to switch the language isn’t related to the theme but to WordPress itself. If you only have one language available you could check if you eventually have a language defined in wp-config.php or contact your host so that they can check it. Here you can also find more information: Installing WordPress in Your Language.
