    Hello Ricard,

We have not tested our plugin with the WordPress Android (or iOS) app. I tried to find some information about the supported filters when uploading an image, but couldn’t find any information after a quick search. We hook into a filter that is executed on the website during upload.

When you upload an image on the WordPress website it compresses the image and the various sizes during the upload request. So you should never have to wait more than the upload.

Could you confirm that the image does compress when you upload it via the WordPress website?

Yes, uploading through the web works.

Not sure how hard would it be to hook it up so it works on Android/iOS apps.

You can always log in via web (mobile) and trigger the compress. Not ideal of course but better than nothing.

    Thanks for the clarification!

We’re going to have a look to see if we can support the apps as well.
