Broke my site

    I installed this and it broke my site, disabling much of the CSS I had in place — changing background colors, etc. I disabled the plugin and deleted, but the problem persists.

    I wasn’t able to find any support requests related to your username – we really would have liked to assist you in resolving this.

    This may have been a styling conflict, however our plugin interacts with very little CSS related to your theme.

    Would you mind sending me a link to your site so I can look into this and try sort it out for you?

    Hi,

    I was able to fix it by restoring my site from a backup. The gist of what got broken was:

    Hidden elements on our homepage were no longer hidden (and unable to be hidden) e.g. photos and text that shouldn’t be there

    Various background colors of divs and the footer were changed to white (and were unable to be changed). Something was blocking it

    Spacing on the pages was messed up.

    Sorry about that. I’m glad you managed to come right.

    Our plugin as our plugin doesnt target the unique style classes of other themes, other than our own unique classes.

    Are you 100% sure it was our plugin that caused this? This one star review negatively affects our average rank considerably and I’d like to make sure that our plugin was not at fault here. Furthermore, if it was, I’d like to look into a fix for it so that other users don’t experience this issue again. Please can you send me a link to your site so I can cross reference our class names with your theme’s?

    I’m sorry it affects your rank but it caused many errors — I just don’t want this to happen to another user. I’m 100% sure it was your plugin that caused it. The site is below:

    I understand. I too do not want this to happen to users in the future.

    I have downloaded Zerif Lite and I cannot replicate the issue you are experiencing.

    Would it at all be possible to get in touch with me via our website with the subject “Zerif Lite” so that we can arrange a teamview session so that I can see the effects? I really would like to get this issue sorted out.
